About Me

Experience Summary

Math is a passion of mine that I would like to share with each of you. After attending the University of Georgia and majoring in Mathematics Education, I became a high school math teacher at Northview HS in Johns Creek, GA. During college, I tutored fellow peers in the college level math classes, including calculus, pre-calculus, and linear algebra. Throughout the school year (at Northview), I had experience tutoring an 8th grade student to prepare for the SSAT (entry test for private high schools). I have taken almost any math class through high school and college that you can think of, so I am pleased to help with everything I can! Currently, I am teaching Coordinate Algebra and Advanced Algebra, but I am certified to teach any mathematics 6th-12th grade. Knowing that this subject does not come easily to everyone, I use my passion to find a way to break down a subject to meet the needs of each individual student. I promise to ensure the understanding of each concept for your student. I am very flexible with time and location, especially as the summer season comes around. I am willing to prepare your student for the next year to get them ahead, help them through summer school, or reteach the material from this current year. I hold my sessions to a 24-hour cancellation policy, but I am willing to reschedule to accommodate the missed session.
