In 2000, I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Design from OTIS College of Art & Design, and soon after, I worked professionally as a Senior Designer in World Wide Licensing at Mattel, Inc. In 2011, I completed my Masters in Education from Antioch University, focusing on Arts Advocacy. Currently I am obtaining my K-8th grade, single subject art credential from High Tech High. I specialize in; Art History, Computer Graphics, Mask making, Graphic Design and Drawing& Painting. As an arts advocate and parent, I strive everyday that children have access to the visual arts in their homes, schools and community. By giving rise to joyful exploration and discovery, through diverse forms of art and design, anything is possible.

I am an art teacher at a k-8th grade project based elementary school. I teach a total of 80 students per week with 22 students in each class. My lesson plans focus is on drawing, painting, collage and art history with an emphasis on art integration with academics. In my home studio I teach building and slab work with clay and fine art.
