60 hours working with advanced painting and drawing classes at Fort Collins High school, Monday-Friday January-May
Responsibilities included supervising class, writing and delivering lessons and assessments.
30 hours teaching 4th/5th grade art class, every Friday August-December 2014,
• Responsibilities included writing unit, assessments, and lesson plans, and leading/ being responsible for students in the class.
60 hours working with 7th/8th grade sculpture class at Webber Middle School August- December 2014
• Responsibilities included helping students complete their art projects, helping students overcome obstacles in their art making, and keeping the classroom under control.
360 hours working as a private nanny, Summers of 2012 and 2013
• Responsibilities included watching Chloe, 3-4, and Autumn, 6-7, every weekday of the summer from 7 am until 4:30 pm while their parents worked. During the day I was responsible for waking the girls up, helping them get ready, planning games and activities, keeping them safe, playing mediator between the sisters when they fought, and making breakfast and lunch.
60 hours working with a 6th grade basic art class at Blevins Middle School, January-May 2013,
• Responsibilities included helping students complete their art projects, helping students overcome obstacles in their art making, and keeping the classroom under control; the class included multiple special needs students, giving me experience working with special needs children.
52 hours working as a teacher assistant in Mrs. Wood’s 3rd grade classroom at Liberty Common School.
• Responsibilities included helping the teacher with classroom needs, helping students when they struggled on an assignment, and leading reading time.
