Experience Summary
• Design point-of-purchase advertising and menu elements, retail and corporate advertising, retail packaging, digital media, corporate programs and initiatives, training and program implementation materials, meeting and convention materials, forms, publications, stationery; and all representations of the brand, logo, logotype and business marks.
• Manage the graphic design layout and production of all display, print and digital materials produced.
• Determine production timetable and priority level of all projects.
• Source production of advertising materials from vendors and fulfillment/print-on-demand partner.
• Directly supervise Design Specialists - including training employees, planning, assigning and directing work.
• Maintain the style and graphic appearance of all materials to ensure consistency with the Brand Standards Guide.
Teaching Style
I believe in a hands-on style of teaching. In my own experience I have found it's much easier to retain knowledge by doing the actual design process under guidance. Everybody learns by their own process - it might always be the way I would do it but that in no way makes it wrong. That's the great thing about creativity - we all have our own strengths and we can learn foremothers as much as they can learn from us.
My Hobbies
Naturally I enjoy just about anything design related. Photography, painting, landscaping, etc. I love the outdoors but am always up for watching a great show.
