Experience Summary
I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. The students that I conducted homework help and tutoring with were within grades 2nd through 6th. I conducted my Student Teaching in a first grade classroom and loved every minute of it.

My hobbies consist of reading, cooking, baking, sewing, arts and crafts, creating educational games, and making jewelry.
Other Comments
I will be graduating in May with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and will be receiving my ACSI Teaching Certification right after that. Starting this summer, I will begin the courses to earn my Master’s degree in Elementary Education.

| Creative writing is one of my favorite subjects to tutor because it allows the student to implement their own style to their work. I help my students explore their interests when they are completing their creative writing. Each one of the students that I tutor will experience this too. |

| I have been studying Elementary Education for the past four years. One of my courses was all about teaching Math to my students. For this course I created games for teaching Math, and have been using the games for the students that I tutor ever since. I have found that students love to learn about Math if it is the form of a game. |

| I have been studying Elementary Education for the past four years. Two of the courses was about teaching the Reading subject to Elementary Grade Students. During my Student Teaching, I worked with all fourteen students in their reading. I enjoy looking at the student's interest and finding a book base off of that. I found that students are more likely to want to read if the book is of interest to them. |
