Experience Summary
I have taught elementary school for over a decade. During this time I was the team leader, mentor to new teachers, and representative for various school committees. As a teacher I provide differentiated instruction so all students can learn at their level. I am a warm and caring teacher who believes all children can be successful if given the right tools.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is a student-centered approach. The student is continuously challenged so they gain a better and more long term understanding of the curriculum. This is accomplished through both formal and informal assessments
My Hobbies
I love to run! I have placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in several 5k races. I have also completed the Gasparilla Challenge by running a 15k, 5k, half marathon and 8k in one weekend. I also am very creative and paint as well and develop websites and video montages.
