Sharp, innovative, artistic designer works with P.C. and Macintosh Computers with knowledge of Network configurations and has Thirty years of leadership and management experience. Senior Graphic Designer 1978-81 Recruited as a Technical Illustrator/Photography/Dark Room Technician on the board drawing one, two, and three point perspective illustrations for company service manuals for computer products. Shot and developed photographs using 4X5 and 35mm cameras, enlarging screening and producing camera ready screened prints. Processed all illustrations by the stat-camera allowing for a master archival and first generation prints. All production was accomplished by hand each page pasted up for camera ready copy. Senior Font Designer 1981-88 Reassigned to the laser printer group, as the only computer graphic font designer, management promoted me to Senior Font Designer after 90 days. The promotion was based on performance, completion of digital typefaces, and process improvement. Senior Graphic Designer 1988-90 The final promotion to Senior Graphic Designer for Marketing and Engineering enabled advancement into the PC world of Computer Presentations. This allowed experience with the companies computer education department, upper management and CEO visibility. United States Air Force Offutt A.F.B. Omaha, NE 1968 to 1971 Graphic Arts Illustrator (22351) Awarded a 22331 after scoring in the 97 percentile as an Artist/Illustrator seven months latter was awarded a 5 level by the United States Air Force Institute. As an E-5 or Staff Sergeant for the U.S. Air Force, Supervised the 55th SRW Graphic Arts Section with seven airmen.

Teaching Style

Show students how to accomplish Task then let the student work through the assignment while I am there to answer problems that will arise. Student Hands on operation of artist skills, or software use. Student hands on is the best way of learning a process or tools like illustrator or photo shop. Hand on Teaches...

Technical Illustrator RAYTHEON (E-SYSTEMS) Greenville, TX 1990 to 2000 Senior Proposal Specialist On a special project basis, supervised up to fourteen illustrators and ten word processing professionals. Responsibilities included technical production of each proposal, staff supervision and training and database management of archived work. Responsible for hardware, software, network configurations, and organization of categorizing all artwork for each and every proposals assigned. • As lead illustrator of 5,000 page proposal with a workforce of fourteen illustrators, ten integration specialist and ninety days to ship the finished color proposal. Resulting in a two billion dollar contract with the Royal Australian Air Force that was extended for one hundred million increase. • Coordinated with staff, photo lab, in house print shop, and the Graphics Group of Dallas where all of Raytheon’s color separations.
