Experience Summary
I am currently enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Elementary Education program, maintaining a University GPA of 4.0 with 40 credit hours towards my degree. I am privately contracted as a 7th grade Reading and Math tutor, with experience working with students diagnosed with ADD. Previous medical experience as an EMT-Intermediate and an Associates Degree in Diversified Studies provide me with a well-rounded perspective while teaching: Science, History, Reading, or English.
I am projected to graduate, as a member of the Urban Teacher’s Prep Academy, in 2016. Current observatory and Field Experience opportunities include Oklahoma City Public School, Bodine Elementary, and Edmond Public School, Orvis Risner.
Experience in administering Yopp-Singer and Running Records, reading assessments. Experience in Teaching Reading for the Primary Grades, as well as 5-8th grade Literature.
Additional training in the Arts: Teaching Music for Elementary Educators, Teaching Physical Education for Elementary Educators, Teaching Art for Elementary Educators.
