Experience Summary
I lived in Israel for 17 years. Since arriving in the United States I have taught adults Level 1- Introductory Hebrew that included 16 classes over a four month period. I am also currently teaching Hebrew Level 2 and tutoring children at home. I am highly proficient in all of the the aspects of Hebrew including conversational Hebrew, and reading and writing both block and cursive in Hebrew.
Portuguese is my native language. I lived in Brazil until I was 26 years old. I have continued to read and write in Portuguese, and it remains the easiest language for me to communicate.
My previous teaching experience includes teaching children for over ten years. I truly love teaching and helping others, and in particular, I love working with children.
Teaching Style
I work very hard to make learning interesting and engaging, even when it comes to monotonous tasks that are required for learning a language. I think that it is very important that the learner be able to comprehend and speak the language, in addition to learning how to read and write. When it comes to teaching children, I frequently engage them in games and fun activities to make the learning process enjoyable and productive.

I love to teach! Portuguese is my native language. Originally from Brazil, I moved to Israel in 1996 where I learned Hebrew. I have been reading, writing, and speaking Hebrew for over 17 years and most Israelis are surprised to here that I am not a Sabra, or native Israeli. I came to the United States over a year ago and since arriving, I have enjoyed teaching introductory Hebrew classes. If you hire me, I promise to work with you on all aspects of learning Hebrew or Portuguese while making the experience productive and enjoyable.
