Experience Summary
I recently completed a two-month internship in TAS/OTS in EY this summer. From this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in the advisory area. I participated in a mobile internet App project for a startup technical company. The major goal for the project is to do financial forecasting for the company. In the group, my job was to help create a business plan report and translate from Chinese to English. I also worked on cash flow forecasting. As a team, we did a lot of calculation and researching of the data from client in order to evaluate the net income for up to three years. Through the estimated net income, we could evaluate how much the company need to as an investment and the risk level of the business. From this project, I applied finance and accounting skills from my MSA program.
During the time at Deloitte in the summer 2012, I learned to use audit system 2 which is audit software to complete data entry for auditing. I also worked on a government bidding project. As a member in the project team, I helped to organize contract data for the bidding company. During this experience, I utilized my skills in data analysis and with Excel formulas.
