I possess the qualifications, background and experience you would be searching for in an ideal candidate.
I currently hold both a BS in Elementary Education/English and a MAED in Curriculum, Instruction and Technology. In addition, I possess an active Professional Educator's Certificate to teach in the states of FL and CT, Grades K-6 (013). I have seven years of full time teaching experience (Grades K, 3 and 4) and ten years experience tutoring all ages in all subject areas, including standardized test prep and college entry exams.

I am a kind, caring and dedicated professional with a great passion for teaching and making a positive difference in the lives of my students. I have strong classroom management skills, set clear expectations and encourage my students to be the best they can be and to take pride in everything they do.
Outstanding teacher
I believe in order to be an outstanding teacher, you must begin with a passion and dedication for the profession. An outstanding teacher has that passion and it shows through her teaching and commitment to her students.
An outstanding teacher must have a love for children and be concerned for their well being and their success in school. She instills values and structure into her students and sets them up for success. She teaches them confidence, pride and how to strive for excellence in everything they do. In addition, a successful teacher has excellent classroom management skills and teaches the benefits of order and routine.
An exceptional teacher is kind, caring and considerate. She respects her students and validates them as important human beings with worthwhile contributions. She listens to what they have to say and she shows interest in their ideas and discoveries. I believe a teacher and student learn and discover from each other and have fun while doing so. An excellent rapport between teacher and student is essential. An outstanding teacher will take the time to get to know each and every one of her students individually. She will know their strengths, weaknesses and learning style so she can ensure their success.
Goals of an excellent teacher include motivating her students to do their very best work, to take pride in what they do and to believe in themselves. A great teacher wants the best for her students. It is her job to create a safe, happy, accepting, fun and welcoming learning environment in which students look forward to coming to school each and every day. An exceptional teacher cares; and will do anything necessary to provide a wonderful experience for her students.
