Experience Summary
I will graduate in May from Bob Jones University with a degree in Spanish Education. I have a sincere passion for the Spanish language. This is my 8th year being involved with Spanish. I took 4 Spanish classes in high school and have taken 29 credits of Spanish at Bob Jones. This credits included grammar classes, a conversation class, a composition class, literature classes and an interpretation/translation class. I received high grades in every Spanish class that I took. I have 70 hours of Practicum Experience from Wade Hampton High School. I spent 60 days student teaching at Mauldin Middle School. I spent at least 124 hours in whole class, small-group and individual instruction. This experience including all aspects of being a certified teacher including creating lesson plans, finding and using interesting resources, grading assignments and assessments, and teaching. I received an A for the entire student teaching experience. I am on record at the Bob Jones University Academic Resource Center as a college tutor if needed. I also tutored a math student in high school. I was also involved in Spanish interpretation and translation of medical advertisement articles for a chiropractor this past summer.
