Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate from Otis College of Art and Design with a Masters in Fine Art (emphasis in Drawing). I also hold a BFA from the University of North Texas for Painting and Drawing. In 2014 I was the Artist in Residence at Shankill Castle in Paulstown Ireland, and have received training in classical painting and drawing techniques from the Lorenzo De Medici School in Florence, Italy. I am a professional Artist work in Los Angeles and am showcasing my work at galleries both locally and internationally.
Teaching Style
After a preliminary consultation I assess how far along the student has come, and where they would like their art to progress towards. I have the student do drawing exercises in the beginning of class, then assign a assignment in which they have one hour to complete. At the end of the class I offer "sketchbook homework" for them to have completed by the next class. This ensures that they are practicing and making an effort to progress.
My Hobbies
I enjoy swing dancing on the weekends, playing video games, reading, and grabbing a drink with friends.
