Experience Summary
I am a recent graduate of Arizona State University. Having used tutors myself I know of the great help that they can be to one who is struggling with a certain subject. Having experience with tutors and in tutoring others in mathematics has been a great help and a great source of joy in my life. Using my knowledge and passion for a subject and the ability to use the materials that a student is currently using to teach them is a source of pride for me. I enjoy being able to review a topic to see how it has been presented and then taking ques from the student to find how they best the material and then help them find a way to make it work for them.
Teaching Style
I believe that there is not one way to teach everybody. Everyone learns in a different way and at different speeds. I like to help a person understand a topic in the best way for them, not just learn how to use a formula to crank out a number. I believe that practice makes perfect and I approach each person with the attitude that it takes work and repetition to gain the desired understanding.
My Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with friends and family and discovering new and exciting things to learn about.
