I have enjoyed tutoring since high school. During college, I tutored college level math and chemistry. After college I worked for a large test prep company teaching SAT prep courses in various high schools. My education background is in biology (BA Molecular & Cell Biology, UC Berkeley) so I especially love tutoring science and math. My expertise is in standardized test prep (mainly SAT and GRE for graduate schools). My experience is not only tutoring and teaching, but also developing test prep material for both SAT and GREs
Teaching Style
Most tutors merely act as a solutions manual for off the shelf test prep books. I believe in providing my students a fully comprehensive curricula that covers both strategy and subject matter. Every student learns differently and at their own pace. I strongly believe in diagnosing and targeting student's weak areas.
