Experience Summary
My experiences range from working in Miami Dade County public schools as in class support,a pull out support tutor for FCAT reading comprehension and phonics.While working with the non-profit organization City Year Miami i planned help maintain the starfish corp. afterschool program based on homework help and physically stimulating activists to engage whole school whole child. After leaving City Year Miami ,I became a State tutor for Miami Dade Public schools working with indepedntly contracted comanies CJR & Basic Learning Skills specializing in reading for understanding,yet still tutoring basic math and writing. I recently took a basic training course to become a substitute teacher for the students of Broward county public schools only to find out their job placement status is closed. So in the spirit of moving forward with my teaching and inspiring agenda I am looking forward to engaging students on a one on on level.
Teaching Style
My teaching style involves allowing the student to become an independent thinker through experiencing learning from one student to another. I believe in tailored learning in order to get an educational message across.Just we din't all think the same we don't all learn the same my job is to figure out the way the child learns best and adjust my style to suit their needs.
My Hobbies
Though creative writing is the hobby I find myself most engaged by I love reading and creative crafts as well.
