Experience Summary
My name is Elena P. I recently graduated a 4-year university in Accounting and Finance majors with honor Magna cum laude. Being recommended by the university's Accounting professor, I was an accounting tutors for my peers and underclass men by creating a one-on-one or group session. I am currently taking CPA exam and scored a 90s for the Financial Reporting section. As a result, I believe that I have a comprehensive and thorough understanding about the accounting principles and the students' learning process to teach both the subject matters and learning skills based on their learning styles.
Teaching Style
Since students learn faster with the right combination of learning styles, All first time students will take a short survey that helps me, as a tutor, to identify my students as visual, auditory, reading/writing or kinesthetic learners, and align my overall curriculum with these learning styles. Allowing students to access information in terms they are comfortable with will increase their academic confidence.
