I am an apparel designer by profession with both menswear and womenswear experience. I also have experience teaching and tutoring at a college level - assisted professors at Cornell University by developing new course material and aiding students in and outside of class. I have mentoring and tutoring experience on a personal and a professional level in various design fields listed above. I have tutoring experience with adult/professional students in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) for both business and leisure purposes. I have mentoring experience in career counseling and professional development with recent graduates as well as professionals. I am very easy-going and patient with my students and can relate on many different levels as I have a very global and diversified background. My students enjoy their sessions with me and find the subject at hand much more fun to learn! Learning and self-improvement should be fun as well as educational. I tailor my tutoring sessions to each student so it becomes a more personal and more effective method of learning.
