My Artistic Journey
I am a self-taught artist, born and raised in India, with a lifelong passion for art. My artistic journey began at a young age, and I quickly found recognition for my talents. At the age of 10, I was honored with a State Gold medal in drawing and painting, which served as the initial spark for my artistic endeavors. Eager to enhance my skills, I embarked on formal art lessons to further develop my craft.
By the time I turned 14, my dedication paid off as I received a National Gold medal in drawing and painting, marking a significant milestone in my artistic career. These achievements were not only personal triumphs but were also acknowledged by the local community, with my name being featured in the pages of the local newspaper.
At the age of 15, I successfully cleared my Higher grade Drawing Examination with Distinction, demonstrating my commitment to both academic and technical excellence in the field of art.
As my journey unfolded, I discovered a profound love for teaching, especially when working with children. Teaching art to young minds requires boundless patience and the ability to connect with them on their level. I firmly believe that every child possesses a unique artistic spirit, waiting to be nurtured. This philosophy forms the core of my teaching approach – guiding, correcting, and connecting with each young artist I have the privilege to mentor.
For several years, I continued to teach locally, sharing my passion for art with the community. However, the COVID-19 pandemic presented new challenges and opportunities. In response, I transitioned my classes to an online format, enabling me to reach students all across the United States, spanning multiple time zones, including EST, CST, MST, and PST.
Throughout this journey, I have remained unwavering in my commitment to delivering the highest quality art education to my students. I embrace flexibility and am receptive to suggestions and feedback, constantly striving to improve and adapt my teaching methods to ensure the best possible learning experience for every aspiring artist I have the privilege of guiding.
My journey is a testament to my enduring love for art, my dedication to nurturing young talent, and my willingness to adapt and thrive in the face of change. As I continue to inspire and mentor the next generation of artists, I look forward to the many artistic adventures that lie ahead.
