Experience Summary
I have tutored GED students in math for most of the last ten years. Most of the tutoring was in a classroom, but some of it was private tutoring. Also I have tutored junior high students in Algebra 1 for two years. I have tutored fifth grade students in math for two years. Many students have indicated that they thought I explained concepts well. Also for two years I taught as a teaching assistant in the General Biology labs at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Now it is October, 2020. I have now done 4 years of tutoring at a local Columbia community college. Most of it has been in math, college algebra, and pre-calculus.
My Hobbies
I have done volunteer work in hospitals, nursing homes, and churches. I have a 32 pound beagle mix that is about 6 years old. I love her a lot. Before her I had a black lab and an Australian shepherd mix . They lived to be 14 and 16.
