Experience Summary
I have over 7 years work experience in accounting with my most recent job as the Staff Accountant for Specialty’s Café and Bakery.
In my previous roles, I have held many responsibilities included all functions of AR/AP/GL, reconciliation of numerous bank accounts, reporting various revenue channels as well as preparing for the year-end audit. I have also had the opportunity to develop the Finance department with several organizations including the hiring and supervising of Finance Assistants as well as several interns. I have also had the chance to implement internal controls, internal audit procedures as well as implement new processes. I thoroughly enjoy a challenge and am looking for a role that will further improve my management capabilities as well utilize my analytical skills.
Previous work experience has given me the opportunity to work internationally, including working in numerous currencies within different banking systems. I am advanced in Microsoft Dynamics GP (formally Great Plains), Sage, and the Microsoft Office suite (advanced in Excel). I am also proficient in ATX, FRX and have advanced PC skills.
