Experience Summary
I have no formal teaching or tutoring experience other than teaching my kids. I have managed people in the work place and have been told I am a good teacher/trainer. I am considering going back to school to become a teacher, but would like to try tutoring first. I have three kids, two have graduated high school and one is in middle school so I have seen my share of bad teachers who can only teach out of a book and don't know how to relat to their students.
Teaching Style
My teaching style would be tailored to what each individual needs help with. I am a patient person who would teach by solving some example problems, then assigning a few similar problems for my student to solve. If he or she has trouble solving them, I will try to identify what the issue or issues are and teach them what they are doing wrong and why.
My Hobbies
I love sports (baseball, basketball and football), both playing and watching. I also enjoy playing golf occasionally and used to run the mini marathon each year.
