Experience Summary
I have 35 years of teaching experience in grades 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. I also have experience in teaching special education in the elementary grades focusing on learning disabilities. Since I have retired, I also have tutored children that needed help in reading or math. I have also prepared students for the STARR test.
Teaching Style
I prefer one-to-one tutoring. I believe that patience and increasing self-confidence can help a child to succeed in reading or math.
My Hobbies
I love reading in my spare time. I also enjoy church activities.
