Hi.. I am a special educator handling children with mild and moderate dyslexia. I was working in the mainstream line and realized that there were children who were slow learners or in other words needed to be taught in a way they could learn.I explored and educated myself on those lines.I am currently working in an organization which caters to such children.Patience and empathy works wonders with these children.Each student is unique and has his/her style of learning.Each case of dyslexia is unique because it results from a combination of an underlying talent, or predisposition, and from environmental influences and unsuccessful learning experiences. As a result, no two dyslexics will have exactly the same set of symptoms. Understanding and working consistently can make the difference between giving up and trying again :)
