Experience Summary
I've been an elementary school teacher for the last ten years in California and Japan. I have a Reading Specialist Credential and an MA with an emphasis in Reading. I'm very experienced with the reading workshop approach, which meets the specific needs of each individual student. In Japan I taught at an IB World School, so I am familiar with teaching different ability levels and mixed cultures. I have several years of tutoring experience in various subjects.
