Experience Summary
I am a well qualified math tutor and have 3 years of tutoring experience at the collegiate level. I was the lead math and engineering tutor for the University of New Mexico's Engineering Student Services (ESS) Department. I finished both my B.S. and M.S. degrees with a 3.4 and 3.6 GPA, respectively. In my time at UNM, I completed 30 hours of math from college algebra up to partial differential equations.
Teaching Style
I am very patient and take my time explaining things. I like to make sure that my students understand something well before moving on. I find it important that they know the basic concepts before attempting to master the subject. I like to teach using a whiteboard or chalkboard, if possible, allowing the students to interact and work problems until the material is understood.
