Since 2007, I've been working with beginning Arabic students to build a solid foundation in the language, and to get them speaking confidently and correctly right away. I do occasionally work with non-beginners. I do not tutor dialect.
I studied Arabic in the US and abroad at the following institutions: University of Utah, Middle East Studies: Arabic
Intensive programs: Brigham Young University, Sana'a Institute for the Arabic Language, University of Jordan Language Center, Arab Academy
Teaching Style
Every session will be speaking-focused, a skill best-developed outside the classroom. In addition to enhancing the four main skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, I train students in correct pronunciation.
