Experience Summary
I have a Bachelor's degree and studied painting and drawing at a world renowned artist Atelier for 5 years. I also continually take workshops from master painters to continue improving my skills. I teach private art lessons and sell paintings and commissioned pieces. Art is not a magically bestowed skill, it is learned through loving, patient, diligent and joyful work! Teaching Style
I am a classically trained artist in drawing and oil painting and I teach through exploration as well as exercises aimed at training the students' eye to perceive the world differently. Learning to paint & draw is mostly done through learning to see and by making mistakes! I believe that drawing and painting go hand in hand, and I recommend that all students practice both for the best results.
A persistently positive attitude and hard work will always yield results! I am a very optimistic person and I communicate this in all that I teach.
Materials I teach with: Charcoal, graphite, oil paint, and acrylics.

I enjoy teaching all ages and levels of ability! I am a permitted preschool teacher and also have professional experience working with youth ages 12 to 17.
