Experience Summary
I grew up in China and spent three years studying at an American school in Pasadena. I can speak Mandarin and English. I am good at speaking Chinese not only because I came from China but I also had a lot of speech experiences when I was in China. For example, I was a radio host for my Chinese school's radio station. And I also love writing and reading in both Chinese and English. My future goal is to be a Chinese teacher at an American school. Learning Chinese is complicated, but I hope that with my help, students will be able to learn Chinese more easily. I plan to help students improve their Chinese speaking and writing in the shortest possible time.
I also love to teach young kids painting and drawing. I spent eleven years learning how to create art pieces that are both visually appealing, and that embrace my own culture and heritage. I also get along with kids very well, so I feel as though this job will enable me to bring Chinese art and culture to American students.
