Experience Summary
I have played piano as long as I can remember. I took lessons from Rachel Daugherty in elementary school. I took lessons from Lauren Mann in middle school. I took lessons from Louise Barfield my Freshman and Sophomore years in high school. I currently take lessons from Tom Rule. I have been the pianist at my church for almost three years. I have won awards at Literary Competitions for playing the piano. I have accompanied the chorus at my school.
Teaching Style
I can teach with a classical, contemporary, or sacred emphasis. My style puts a focus on theory and technique, which are important foundations for becoming an outstanding pianist. My desire is to not only teach piano but to also instill a passion for music within my students.
