Experience Summary
My Graphic Design degree from Cabrini College has given me a strong foundation in
both print and web design, and I have gained valuable professional experience through
freelance work over the past six months. My portfolio shows examples of illustration
and infographic design, as well as interactive and web design. I am highly adept at using
Adobe Creative Suite, and proficient in HTML, CSS and Flash. Aside from my skills, I
am an avid learner. I recently attended a seminar on Information Design led by Edward
Tufte, as well as completed an HTML5/ CSS3 course at Tyler School of Art.
As my resume shows, I had an internship with Two Paper Dolls, where I assisted the team
in creating fun and interesting designs for clients. In addition, throughout my college
career, I took on small freelance projects for local companies. My work ethic is a source of
personal pride, and I will demonstrate it daily for Tutor Select.
Teaching Style
I am very passionate about design, and I pass that excitement onto my students. I show them what they are capable doing, and walk them through how to make it happen. I am up to date on current software, techniques, and trends. My teaching style is anything but dated.
My Hobbies
I enjoy exercising, reading, playing guitar, and admiring all things design.
