GENERAL BACKGROUND
I am a twenty years old young lady with a progressive vision. Coming from an educated and disciplined family with high morals and values , I aim to utilize every piece of information ,knowledge and opportunity which I as a student have come across during my educational years to optimise my overall persona and emerge as a responsible citizen of any community. My goal in life is to strive to keep alive inside me, that spark of celestial fire called ‘Conscience’, a virtue much needed in the world today, thus making my parents and teachers proud of me.

LEADERSHIP: I have held various coveted appointments during my academic years. I was nominated and selected as the School Sports Vice Captain in Grade XI in 2010 and then the School Sports Captain in Grade XII in 2011,which is one of the most looked up to an ultimate Leadership Appointments awarded by the school to a student in the School Council.
Some significant appointments that I have held in the Senior Classes are:

House Vice Prefect and adjudged as the Best Prefect in Grade –IX
School Sports Vice Captain in Grade –XI

COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL SERVICE: I have been actively involved in the social service assignments, organised for ‘Pustak’ a school for the underprivileged in India , and adopted by Vivek High School under the service to community project. I have also helped in raising funds for ‘Help Age’ an organisation working for the underprivileged elderly people on need. I was nominated and selected for the Value Award for Courtesy in Grade X. I volunteered as a Literacy Tutor in Canada in which I tutored students with learning disabilities. I also volunteered in conducting the Surrey International World Music Marathon in Canada. I would like to continue to work for the betterment of Humanity ,Animals and Environment Preservation.
SPORTS: I have a natural flair and talent to adopt to any sport. I strive to excel towards a standard of excellence which I set for myself and firmly believe that the significance of a disciplined regimen , focussed approach and control over the mind and body taught to me by my teachers and parents have always given me and edge in every sport undertaken by me but also in handling various challenges of life. Some of my significant achievements are as follows:

My favourite events are Long Jump and Sprints(100 mtrs, 200 mtrs).
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS: I have maintained a consistently good academic record throughout. In spite of an increased difficulty level and a very challenging course content, I emerged as a successful student which would definitely hold me in good stead in the future.
