Experience Summary
I have taught a variety of subjects, and I have worked individuals from elementary school through college.
I am currently working with Rochester Educational Opportunity Center as a part time instructor. In addition to this, I teach as a volunteer math tutor to adults who are preparing to their GED and TABE exams.
Teaching Style
I work with students on their level, and then assist students to build skills at the next level. I work to match my instructional style so that it corresponds to the student's learning style and comfort level. Moreover, it is important to relate new information to something that is familiar to the student; this is also how I help students to learn.
My Hobbies
I enjoy needle crafts, reading, singing, and playing with my dogs.

During the years I have taught English as a Second Language. I hold certifications in Art Education, Elementary Education(n-6), and Special Education(K-12).
