Experience Summary
I have been using sign language for 32 years. I have been raised with a member of my family that had an hearing impairment. I learned sign language at the age of 7, from my cousin Leon Wilson who is hard of hearing. I have been signing ever since. I have started a deaf ministry at my church in 1992. I am currently one of the sign language interpreter at my church. I am enrolled in Mesa College in their sign language interpreting program. I am also involved in deaf club at Mesa College. I also volunteer at Deaf Community Service. I have a passion for American Sign Language so I feel that I can use my skills to tutor.
Teaching Style
I can teach one on one and I can also teach in a group setting.
My Hobbies
I like to read, associate my self with the deaf community, I like to go shopping and eat out at my favorite restaurants, I love to go swimming on hot days and hang out with family and friends.
