Experience Summary
I have tutored students age three to adult who possess myriad learning differences. My areas of expertise include English and Language Arts, test preparation (ACT, SAT, ISEE, CAT, STAAR), writing for a variety of purposes, study skills, academic organizational skills, relaxation techniques, reading comprehension and fluency, vocabulary expansion, and academic activities that improve the student's ability to focus on tasks. I incorporate a multitude of learning tools as part of my differentiated approach including: computer technology, verbal, tactile, and visual exercises.
Teaching Style
My goal is to assess a student's particular strengths as well as areas in which they can improve. I discern the unique learning style of individual clients to ensure and experience academic progress in a supportive, motivational environment.
