Experience Summary
Hello! I am a certified PK-12 Spanish and ESL teacher with experience teaching 4-6 grade Spanish and high school Spanish courses. I studied abroad in Mexico and love studying the Spanish language and culture. I have tutored students of varying skill levels with their Spanish courses.
I also have over 20 years of experience playing the piano and over 10 years of experience playing in the church setting. I was classically trained in piano from the age of 5 but have taught myself to read chord charts and lead sheets. I would love to help you unlock the world of music and piano.
Teaching Style
I was classically trained in piano but teach a combination of music reading and ear training. I can also teach you how to play by chord charts and lead sheets for band/worship music.
My approach to teaching Spanish involves a combination of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
