Experience Summary
I have done bachelors in engineering in electronics and communication (4 years degree course) from India and have had a strong background of mathematics throughout my education. My major subject was mathematics during high school and have given good performance in engineering mathematics throughout graduation.
As I am a fresh graduate, I connect with the general scenario and problem of today’s student life. I like sharing my knowledge with people and feel good to see them succeed in their work. Mathematics is a subject of logical understanding and I am acquainted with the problems students face with it. So, while teaching I always try to work out the best in which a student can grasp and apply the logic behind the topic. My first attempt would always be to know the student’s level and then to bridge the gap to the required level by creating interest in the subject and relating it with day to day life.
I have experience in teaching students of Middle School and High school. Initially, I didn’t think about teaching seriously but, during last year in under-graduation my neighbor came to me for help in understanding few topics in mathematics. I taught her and she did get the logic which delighted me. Teaching and sharing my knowledge gave me immense satisfaction and pleasure. I learnt that a lot of students find it difficult to go ahead with their subjects and so I decided to help them out. I started teaching mathematics as it is the base of my education and I feel that I can contribute more in it. After my under graduation I got green card and I came to USA and here also I wish to continue my contribution in the society by helping today’s youth. My assets are numbers, geometry, trigonometry, ratios and proportions, area and volume, probability, algebra.
