Experience Summary
Throughout my grade school experience I never obtained anything below a 3.0 GPA. As a college student I have acquired a 4.0 GPA and feel confident I can assist with any educational needs. I have never made anything less than an A on any paper I have ever written. I have experience in all fields as I have already completed the basic requirements for my degree in Psychology. English, Science, and History have always been my chosen subjects in school. Math was not my favorite but with time and dedication I overcame any “additional” problems.
I coached cheerleading for 5 years as I cheered for 16 years. I feel that experience alone has provided me with an adequate way of teaching. I understand what it takes to aid an adolescent in understanding their goal and exemplifying how to reach it. My goals now are currently bachelors in Psychology, masters of Theology, and doctrine of Divinity. I have tutored in the past and feel as though God’s work through me is successful. I work very well with children as I hold a vast amount of patience.
As mentioned above I have completed my basic college credits so I am very familiar with many tasks that students may need help in. I received the presidential award my senior year and I was also a member of Future Teachers of America. I enjoy helping others grow and that is the main reason I have chosen Psychology as my set vocation. I am very persistent in using imagery in my teaching methods as that has been scientifically proven to help memory and effectiveness. I hope to be able to make the student feel comfortable and feel as though they can ask anything they feel like they need to without feeling undermined. I understand a curious mind as I am still a student myself, but highly educated. Thanks for your consideration and I hope to be tutoring you or your child soon!
