About Me

Experience Summary

I work full time for a German company where I am responsible for translation of product documentation from English to German and vice verse. I am a native German speaker, only immigrated to the US in 1997. As a 2nd job I teach German at a global language school. Since I came to the US I have translated a number of documents for individuals and small businesses. In addition I edit documents for a German translation and documentation company.

Teaching Style

Immersion. My style is German only. The student will receive 3 lifelines in a lesson where he/she can ask a question in English, but 95% of the lesson is in German.

Other Comments

I live with my wife, 2 children and 2 dogs in Cranford, NJ, but am also available to teach in Bergen county.
