Experience Summary
I have business background, but since I moved to United States I have been working with Portuguese language, as translator and interpreter since 2010, as private tutor since 2011, and I had the opportunity to teach 2 Portuguese classes (48 students total), one of them for English speakers only and the second one for Spanish speakers, both at University of Florida, where I found my passion to teach!
Teaching Style
Motivate students participation, use Brazilian culture and recent fact as examples to inform and also practice the language. Practice daily situations and use students hobbies and favorite activites to develop the use of the language.

Woodworking, Tennis and Volleyball

Teaching is the most rewarding activity, being able to contribute with someone else's expansion of knowledge, specially when related to Brazilian culture is very motivating for me.
