Supplemental Instruction Coordinator - I sit in college Spanish courses each day of class and assist the professor in helping students in class. This position also involves holding a one-hour group tutoring session per week.
Will graduation with a minor in Spanish in May of 2014 (classes are already completed).
Teaching Style
I love to redirect questions rather than just giving answers. By avoiding giving answers students can learn to think on their own, develop critical thinking skills, and improve their learning techniques. I also like to use whiteboards and textbooks to provide visuals, while also using educational 'apps' via Ipad and iphone to engage students.
