My teaching career started as an elementary school teacher. I've been teaching for 11 years now. I've also taught adult education for six years at Terrebonne Parish Juvenile Detention Center. Throughout my teaching career,I've also worked as a mental health professional. I admired working as a mental health professional,because it helped me to understand and relate to my students better.
