Private Science Tutor from 2006-2009
I graduated with Masters in Biotechnology from Georgetown University in May 2013. I achieved a Bachelor’s of Technology in Biotechnology from Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Mumbai, India in 2012. This course of study has given me deep insight into the realm of biological sciences and laid a strong academic foundation.
I am motivated, task-oriented, and efficient, and my knowledge of the Biotechnology industry is comprehensive and current. During my time as Research Intern at Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center, I worked directly under my Principal Investigator, Dr. Jan Blancato and carried out various cytogenetic techniques such as Tissue FISH and Metaphase Chromosome Preparation. I also trained in the operation of Fluorescence Microscopy, Confocal Microscopy and standard laboratory equipment.
My enthusiasm and commitment to excellence have served me well. I have also gained valuable research experience in Animal Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology techniques, while working as a Research Intern at T.M.N.C & B.Y.L Nair Hospital, Mumbai, India.
