Experience Summary
I am a native speaker of Chinese (Mandarin). I have a good command of writing compositions and interpreting Chinese poems. I often got the first place in the Chinese exam at high school and have great interest of Chinese language. I came to Melbourne 2 years ago and now I'm studying in university of Melbourne. I joined Chinese debating group in the university of Melbourne and participated in Australia university debating competition. This is the largest Chinese debating competition within Australia. I was selected as a debater to represent university of Melbourne and got the second place in the contest.
In addition, I used to teach primary students English and Chinese for 3 months as a volunteers of Expo 2010 in Shanghai. This experience gives me more understanding and more methods to teach students with patience and use the words they understand to teach them.
