Experience Summary
For as long as I have been able to remember, I have been blessed with teachers and administrators who have taken an invested interest in me as a student, as well as a developing human being. Their devotion to my academic success helped to propel me forward during the times when I was not always able to motivate myself. Today it is more common than ever that children for one reason or another do not receive the guidance, nurturing, and support that is necessary for them to be successful in life as well as in the classroom. Knowledge of this struggle at such a pivotal point in their lives is why I aspire to be an educator of inner city youth. I believe that the experiences that I have had in life and school have helped to make a phenomenal asset to the classroom and the students I serve. I feel that over the years that I have taught thus far, every school, every administration, and every new student that I have been blessed to come into contact with has provided me with a new lessons or experience that helps to make me a better educator and advocate for the students I encounter each year!
