Experience Summary
I have been an 8th grade math teacher at Osawatomie Middle School for the last 9 years. My classes have ranged from Consumer Math to Pre-Algebra to Algebra I. I also taught two years of 7th grade math. In the last 3 years I have tutored 8 different students at Osawatomie High School during before school hours. I am looking to build on that experience in the summer months.
Teaching Style
I love making math fun and relating it to every day life. With the advancement of technology in education I like to include examples from the internet based on the students' interests.
My Hobbies
I am also the head high school baseball coach and assistant basketball coach at Osawatomie High School. I love sports and music, and in the summertime I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my wife Jodi.
