Experience Summary
I have work with K-12 students, educators, administrators and parents for over ten years, helping them learn how to use both Mac and PC computers, Google Applications, video production and the iPad. I have an ability to talk to people at a wide variety of levels and can translate computer geek into human. I can provide computer training to individuals or groups, including schools and businesses.
Teaching Style
I have a social learning style where I like to make sure the learner(s) are comfortable before asking them to integrate new information. I like to find out what they know, how they feel about the technology they are using and what they want to be able to do. I have taught (both in person and online) people that believed they were completely unable to use technology as well as people that believed they had nothing left to learn.
