Experience Summary
I currently work at a daycare. I have experience working with elementary students K-5. Even though I am not a certified teacher, I still have a bachelor degree in English. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked as a camp counselor for youth camps, and as a child advocate. My next step is to get my Masters degree as a Speech Pathologists. I work with so many children with speech issues. I think that would be a great major for me to get into. I have worked as a phonics teacher as well. I have help students to pronounciate their letters and sounds so they can be better speakers.
Teaching Style
I have help students with their homework. I currently work in a daycare center with Pre-K students. I am in charge of getting these students ready for Kindergarten. I am teavhing them a fabulous curriculum that comes from the University of Texas . My job is not a babysitting job. I actually teach these students the real deal as far as getting ready for kindergarten. My students will have the knowledge and skills to do a great job.
My Hobbies
I love to crochet. I just learned last year. I am into crocheting warm and cozy Winter hats. I am still learning how to make doilies. I also love to cook and bake. I also like to draw and just be creative in whatever I do. I love Arts and Crafts I can do that with my students all day if I had to.
Other Comments
I think just because I am not a Certified teacher doesn't mean I can't get the job done. I have about 10 years experience working with kids. I have worked with older students and younger students. My speciality with the older students is to help then with their homework. I am glad I did graduate high school and college,so I can one day help someone else.
