Experience Summary
I am a retired college/university professor, and have been tutoring actively for the last six years (privately, as well as in a mentoring program at a community college). My tutoring experience has focused primarily upon mathematics, statistics, writing, Test Prep (e.g., ACT,SAT, GRE, math placement tests), chemistry and economics. Students have told me that I explain otherwise difficult material (especially in mathematics), in a down-to-earth and commonsense manner that makes sense intuitively.
