Experience Summary
I am a Texas certified teacher with 19 years of experience teaching all elementary grades K-5. I have taught in Georgia, Texas, and out of the country. I am certified to teach grades Pre K - 8. I am capable of teaching phonics, sight words, fluency, and comprehension skills in the area of reading. In math I can help students with basic computation, word problems, logic and reasoning skills, and math concepts grades K-5. I can help students improve writing and grammar skills. My knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) combined with my teaching skills can help students improve grades in school, retain learning, and prepare for state required tests. I have experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, including special education students, ESL students, and gifted and talented students.
